Privacy Policy
Who we are
Denice Inc is a wholesale medical uniform company, based at 1407 Broadway, Suite 818, New York, NY 10018. We develop and sell our own brands to retailers, independent stores, hospitals, clinics, and distributors.
This policy explains what we collect on deniceinc.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
This site sells wholesale only. It is intended for businesses buying by the case. It is not a store for individual shoppers, and it is not intended for anyone under 18.
What we collect
When you apply for a trade account, we ask for:
- Your first and last name
- Your company name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your country and state, province, or region
We collect this to decide whether your business qualifies for a trade account and to get in touch with you about it. We do not ask for anything we do not need for that decision.
When you sign in, we record the fact that a sign-in link was requested for your email address, and when. We keep this to stop the sign-in form from being used to send unwanted email to people who did not ask for it.
When you save a style, we store the style number against your account so your list is there the next time you sign in.
When your browser loads a page, our hosting provider records the standard information any web server receives — the page requested, the time, an IP address, and the browser type. This is used to serve the site and to keep it secure.
What we do not collect
- No payment information. You cannot buy anything on this site. There is no checkout, no card entry, and no payment processing.
- No passwords. Signing in works by emailed link. There is no password to store, so there is none to lose.
- No analytics or tracking. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent. We do not have tracking pixels, advertising tags, or social media trackers. The site is built so that every page loads only from our own servers — nothing on it calls out to a third party, and this is verified automatically every time we publish.
- No advertising. We do not advertise on this site and we do not sell advertising space.
- No profiles or automated decisions. We do not build behavioral profiles, and no decision about your account is made automatically. A person at Denice reviews every application.
Cookies
We use one cookie. It is set only after you sign in, it holds nothing but a signed session reference, and it exists so the site knows you are signed in as you move between pages. It cannot be read by scripts on the page, and it expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking across other websites. Because we do not use non-essential cookies, there is no consent banner on this site.
How we use what we collect
We use your information to:
- Review and decide on your trade account application
- Send you the emails that make an account work — application received, application approved, your sign-in link, and confirmation if you change your email address
- Keep your saved styles list
- Answer you when you contact us
- Keep the site working and protect it from abuse
We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Where your information is stored
Denice Inc is a United States company and our records are held in the United States. If you are writing to us from Canada, Mexico, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details for as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as we need them for our records or as the law requires. Sign-in links stop working after 15 minutes and can only be used once. Records of sign-in requests are cleared out regularly. If you close your account, we delete your details unless we are required to keep them.
Your email address matters
Because there are no passwords, your email address is the only key to your account. That is why changing it takes an extra step: we send a confirmation link to the new address, and the change only happens when that link is opened. We also send a notice to your old address whenever the change takes effect, so you find out if somebody changes it without your knowledge.
If you ever get that notice and it was not you, call us at 212 764 1050 straight away.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
Some of your details you can change yourself at any time from your account page. For anything else, email info@deniceinc.com or call 212 764 1050 and we will help. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights, including the right to know what we collect and to have it deleted. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
If you are in Canada, you have the right under PIPEDA to access your information and to challenge its accuracy.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
How we protect it
Sign-in links are stored only as an irreversible hash, never in a form that could be read back. They work once and expire after 15 minutes. Session cookies cannot be read by page scripts. Access to your account ends immediately if your account is closed. Access to the admin side of the site is restricted to Denice staff.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. But we do not store the things most often stolen — no passwords, no card numbers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell account holders by email.
